Assignment: A versatile city garden that matches the design of the villa
Following discussions with the client, when interior architect Piet Boon was commissioned to design this stylish city villa, he asked garden architect Piet Oudolf and Van Haneghem to jointly design and landscape the garden. The result of this inspiring collaboration is a bold, nonchalant garden that combines several different functions in a logical way. The challenging differences in height in the garden have been incorporated into the design by creating different levels and using large raised beds made from steel as features. A varied selection of plants and shrubs provides the finishing touch.
